This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents fluid contact with the stainless steel shaft, which is covered by a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a mechanical seal assembly consisting of a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber components. The hydraulic design accommodates up to 125 PSI operation. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and includes Aegis grounding, power delivery of 380-460V / 3PH, and a DOE PEI of 0.48. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
