This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with an 8" suction and 6" discharge. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. It utilizes a rear pullout design and a dry shaft construction that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Flush seal line taps are provided on the casing for the installation of an optional filter, and pressure tappings are included on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor mounted on a 284 JM frame with feet. The motor is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply and uses across the line starting. It meets premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly operates at a 40 °C ambient rating and features a top center line discharge to assist with piping layouts. The manufacturer-stated PEI is 0.93.
