This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve that prevents fluid contact with the shaft. It includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration facilitates venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a JM frame with feet. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and uses across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA standard requirements and is rated for premium efficiency per MG1-12.55, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The system is rated for an ambient temperature of 40 °C and fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. This model has a PEI value of 0.78 and features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
