This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The pump design includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting. Flush seal line taps are included to allow for the installation of a filter.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 30 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a JM motor frame style with feet. Power requirements are 230/460V, 60 Hz, 3PH. The motor meets NEMA standard efficiency levels and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings, and it includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This pump has a PEI value of 0.94 and is configured for CCW rotation.
