This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, paired with a 9-1/2" stainless steel impeller. It utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a rear pullout design to allow for maintenance without disconnecting system piping, and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM. It utilizes a 326 JM motor frame style with feet and is configured for 230-460V/60/3 power. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment with an across-the-line starting option. This model carries a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
