This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections, configured for ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a stainless steel shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The design utilizes a dry shaft construction to prevent fluid contact with the shaft.
The unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 256T frame. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55. It features across-the-line starting and a Woods coupler for the motor connection. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan. This model is rated with a PEI of 0.91 and functions at a 40°C ambient temperature.
