This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes an easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve. It also features flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design to allow for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 20 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a 256 JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly meets NEMA standard requirements and premium efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55. This model operates with CCW rotation and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
