This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection. The pump uses a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts. It is equipped with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps for the installation of an optional filter. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly connects via ANSI Class 125 flanges and does not include a wear ring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and uses across-the-line starting. The motor is mounted on a 256 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly meets NEMA standards, operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation, and adheres to premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This configuration has a PEI of 0.9.
