This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring inside a cast iron casing. The assembly incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH at 60Hz and uses an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. It features a Woods coupler and greasable bearings. The unit has a DOE PEI of 0.92 and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
