This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features 8" suction and 6" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft sleeve. It is equipped with a mechanical seal constructed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design includes flush seal line taps and a dry shaft configuration to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the pump shaft. The unit is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F in clean water applications.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG motor. It features a TEFC enclosure, a JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor requires a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and utilizes across-the-line starting. The assembly operates in 40 °C ambient temperatures and meets NEMA standards. This pump has a PEI value of 0.92, meeting MG1-12.55 efficiency requirements. The rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in reducing piping strain.
