This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Additional features include flush seal line taps, pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout design that allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping.
This unit is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet and a drip cover. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This pump operates with a PEI value of 0.89. The starting configuration is across the line, and the system is rated for an ambient temperature of 40 °C.
