This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and is tapped for suction and discharge gauges.
The assembly includes a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for a 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply and operating at 1150 RPM. The motor is a NEMA 256T frame style that meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base that features an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The pump utilizes permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings and is configured for across the line starting.
