This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent shaft contact with system fluid and includes a slip-on shaft sleeve to facilitate seal maintenance. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and provides self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 254 JM frame with feet and a TEFC enclosure. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 575V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The motor meets Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is achieved via an across-the-line option. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and configured for CCW rotation. This unit does not include a drip cover or wear rings.
