This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, a cast iron casing, and a cast iron cover. The assembly includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump handles clean water at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit features a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping.
This pump is configured with a 15 HP WEG motor in a 254 JM frame with feet. The motor is a TEFC enclosure with AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The top center line discharge orientation simplifies piping layouts and reduces strain. The pump has a PEI value of 0.92.
