This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is equipped with a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP, WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 184T frame. Power configuration is 230-460/60/3. It supports across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This unit meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
