This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate maintenance, while the internal dry shaft arrangement prevents fluid contact with the shaft at a 125 PSI rating without a wear ring. A mechanical seal utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber to provide fluid containment within the pump housing.
The motor delivers 75 HP at a premium efficiency level within a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
