This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The design includes flush seal line taps for particle protection, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and a rear pullout configuration to allow servicing without disturbing system piping. The top center line discharge orientation simplifies piping layouts and supports self-venting.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a TEFC enclosure and a JM frame style 182 with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM using a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit is rated at 40 °C ambient and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86. The assembly does not include a drip cover.
