This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from system fluids and a rear pullout configuration to allow for servicing. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, capable of operating at temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump also includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, along with a top centerline discharge design.
The pump is configured with a 1 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure, featuring a 143 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and carries a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The starting option is set for across-the-line operation, and the pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.83.
