This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. It includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. The pump uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 284 T frame. This motor provides premium efficiency, meets MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump and motor for across the line starting. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.9 and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
