This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The design uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 215 T frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460V/60/3PH with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, includes AEGIS shaft grounding, and maintains a PEI value of 0.88.
