This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller and includes a bronze wear ring. The assembly incorporates a cast iron casing and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The construction utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254T NEMA frame. The electrical configuration is 200V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with a drip pan, and a Woods coupler with a guard. It meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.94. The pump rotation is counter-clockwise.
