This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve on a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The impeller has a nominal diameter of 13-1/2".
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is configured with a 75 HP WEG motor. It uses a NEMA 365 T-frame with a TEFC enclosure and operates on 380/60/3 power with an across the line starting option. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a standard coupler guard and a Woods coupler. This motor setup incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The DOE PEI is 0.93, and the unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
