This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate fluid transport. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F. The unit includes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This pump is driven by a 5 HP, 1750 RPM motor housed in a TEFC NEMA 184T frame. It operates on 380/60/3 power and uses across-the-line starting. The motor is manufactured by WEG and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard.
