This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller equipped with a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A mechanical seal, constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, allows for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
This assembly is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and a NEMA 365TS frame. The motor operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is connected to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan. This equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
