This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluid and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame style. It utilizes an ODP enclosure and is configured for 230-460/60/3 power supply with across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards, including AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump rotates in a CCW direction and uses sealed-for-life bearings.
