This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel, housed within a cast iron casing and cover. It utilizes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP WEG TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 184JM frame with feet, AEGIS shaft grounding, and operates on 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. This motor is compliant with NEMA standards, operates at 40°C ambient, and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements. The assembly has a pump energy index (PEI) of 0.92.
