This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and provides self-venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses a JM style motor frame with feet. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards under NEMA MG1-12.55. This pump has a DOE PEI of 0.97. The starting configuration is across the line.
