This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a top centerline discharge design. The casing is constructed of cast iron and houses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the shaft and system fluids. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump includes flush seal line taps, suction and discharge pressure tappings, and a rear pullout design for servicing.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor. The motor is a TEFC enclosure type mounted on a 182JM frame with feet. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH power and utilizes across-the-line starting. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and maintains a 40°C ambient rating. This unit has a Pump Energy Index (PEI) of 0.93.
