This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal impeller diameter, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design that incorporates a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the pumped fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor with a NEMA 254 JM frame and integral mounting feet. It is configured for a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and operates with CCW rotation. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and features a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
