This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design isolates the pump shaft from the circulating fluid. The unit is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly incorporates flush seal line taps for particle filtration and a rear pullout design to facilitate maintenance.
This pump is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure and operates at 1750 RPM. The motor uses a JM style frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Electrical requirements are 230-460V, 60 Hz, 3PH. The unit meets Premium Efficiency standards according to MG1-12.55 and has a PEI rating of 0.87. The pump is configured with a top center line discharge and operates at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C.
