This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge connection, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The design includes a slip-on shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that isolates the shaft from circulating fluid. Internal features include a bronze wear ring, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It uses a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured in a 145JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is across the line. The pump meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86. A rear pullout design enables servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists with venting.
