This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal containing a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located at the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is built on a NEMA 182T frame and configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan, utilizing a Woods coupling protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This model features greasable bearings and is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature operation.
