This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a cast iron casing, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps.
This pump is powered by a 2 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a NEMA 184T frame. It operates on 230-460/60/3 PH power with across the line starting and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler for connection. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The system is configured for 40°C ambient operation with CCW rotation and utilizes sealed-for-life bearings with a rated L10 life of 60,000 hours.
