This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing, bronze impeller, and bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal impeller diameter. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft, flush seal line taps, and suction and discharge pressure tappings. A rear pull-out design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge aids in self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and uses a 25 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power with across the line starting. The motor utilizes a 284 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a PEI of 0.9. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
