This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, paired with a bronze wear ring. The unit includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing is constructed of cast iron and includes pressure tappings at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP WEG motor. It uses a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 254 T-frame, and is configured for 380V/60Hz/3PH power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This configuration utilizes greasable bearings and is rated for a 50°C ambient environment with a DOE PEI value of 0.87.
