This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. Internal components incorporate a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which operates at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump construction utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is powered by a 5 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 184 T-frame enclosure with a TEFC rating. It operates on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features premium efficiency, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly is configured with a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit is configured for across-the-line starting. The pump efficiency is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
