This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber components, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the assembly includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor premium efficiency TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with a 256T NEMA frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor, which utilizes greasable bearings. The unit supports across-the-line starting and operates in a 40°C ambient environment.
