This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration simplifies piping layouts and facilitates self-venting.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP, TEFC motor. The motor is configured in a 215 JM frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Power requirements are 230-460/60/3 PH, and the motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.89 and utilizes an across the line starting configuration.
