This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction consists of a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal is configured with a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250°F. The impeller has a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and the casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 145 T-frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with an integral drip pan, and a standard Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. The pump is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and carries a DOE PEI value of 0.81.
