This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the bearing housing features sealed-for-life ball bearings and flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 100 HP, TEFC WEG motor. It is configured for a 380/60/3 power supply and utilizes a NEMA 405 T-frame. This motor meets Super E Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and the unit has a DOE PEI of 0.93. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
