This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor ODP motor. The motor is built on a NEMA 284T frame and is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power at a 40°C ambient temperature. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler. This equipment has a pump efficiency index of 0.94 and is intended for clean water applications.
