This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 10" bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor Super E motor with a TEFC enclosure and NEMA 215 frame. The electrical configuration is 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz, with an across-the-line starting option. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets EISA efficiency standards. This unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The pump is rated for 40°C ambient operation, has a DOE PEI of 0.94, and carries an HI Energy Rating of 6.
