This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly utilizes a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, providing a temperature rating of 225°F. The bearing frame incorporates greasable bearings, and the casing includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections. The internal design uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 365 T frame. Electrical requirements are 230-460/60/3, featuring across the line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and is equipped with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor. This unit achieves a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
