This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 5" suction and 4" discharge, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It includes a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal assembly composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and Buna rubber, rated for temperatures up to 225°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design and utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure on a NEMA 254T frame. The electrical configuration supports 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler and standard coupler guard. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE pump energy index of 0.93.
