This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and includes a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter. It is equipped with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal design uses a dry shaft configuration to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The assembly includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is not equipped with a wear ring.
The pump operates at a nominal speed of 3450 RPM and is driven by a Baldor motor mounted on a NEMA 215 frame. It is configured for 60Hz operation and a 40°C ambient environment. The unit is installed on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a standard Woods coupler guard. This configuration has a PEI value of 0.87. The pump utilizes sealed-for-life ball bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
