This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 40 HP motor. It is configured with a WEG TEFC motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460 V, 60 Hz, 3 PH, with an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded base with a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This equipment has a DOE PEI of 0.92.
