This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The internal pump configuration uses a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured with a 254 T-frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is premium efficiency and meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan, a standard Woods coupler, and a coupler guard. This pump has a PEI value of 0.92 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation.
