This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The construction incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T frame. The power requirement is 230-460V/60/3PH with across-the-line starting. The motor connects to the pump via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This model includes AEGIS shaft grounding, meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards, and has a DOE PEI value of 0.92.
