This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. This assembly is configured with gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 frame. It is configured for a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across the line starting option and AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. It operates in a 40°C ambient temperature environment and is EISA compliant. The pump provides a DOE PEI value of 0.85 and an HI energy rating of 15.
