This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The unit is powered by a 7-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a NEMA 213 T frame style with an ODP enclosure. It operates on a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply and utilizes an across the line starting method. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a coupler guard. This assembly incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
